When Words Paint Pictures
Although I am not a writer, Patrick and I work closely together on the creative side of the business. Branding, marketing, and ad copy are where we thrive as partners.
When people think of advertising, they often picture visual ads, but some of the most effective campaigns rely on words. Words have many advantages, one being relevance. Marketing follows trends, and while images or videos can quickly appear dated, words are timeless; they never go out of fashion.
The second advantage is cost. Having worked in production as an art director, I know how much money goes into a shoot … it’s terrifying, mainly because so much is wasted. But I digress. No one can argue that a photoshoot, video, or 3D animation will ever be cheaper than one truly impactful sentence.
Now, look, I’m not selling us short. Good things don’t come cheap, but better things don’t have to be expensive. Full stop.
