Dave’s thoughts:
1. Something you're into right now
I'm really into the show Severance right now. It's an absolute masterpiece, and every episode makes me reconsider a lot of things in life. It's absolutely brilliant.
2. Something you’re not into right now
How bad Man United are, it's really drowning.
3. Your first ever concert, age and location
I wish it was something cooler, but I went to a metal gig in Johannesburg when I was 16. I think the band was Underoath. It was quite an experience.
4. What’s a bad take you have?
My bad take is that I think sandwiches and cold meats shouldn't be served for dinner; they are just lunch dishes. Can't be having picnic food for dinner.
5. Go-to recipe
I love making a Sunday roast, particularly a 3-hour roast pork belly. Gotta cook the veg in the same dish so they soak up all the flavours. Unreal.
6. What perfume/cologne do you wear?
Lord George by Penhaligon's
7. What's your favourite plant?
I'm gonna go either with the classic Peace Lily or the Monkey Face Orchid. They literally look like little monkey faces; it's genius.
8. Bird-watching or fishing?
Fishing, for sure, is a lot more exciting. Although I once went fishing with me da, and we spent 6 hours on the pier and caught nothing and got soaked in the rain, so there's that.
9. What is your favourite vegetable?
Probably a potato. Potatoes are class, there are so many things you can make with them.
10. What's your death row meal?
This is an interesting one. I'd have sushi as a starter, buffalo wings as a main and then sticky toffee pudding as a desert. Is that allowed? Very random mixup, but it would be unbelievable.
